- If you ever run into a someone who is harassing you in a game, do not respond. Instead save the evidence.
- When gaming, choose gender neutral usernames.
- Use a voice mask so other gamers do not know your age or gender.
- Do not share personal information, account details, or passwords while gaming.
- Never agree to meet an online friend offline.
- If you feel threatened in any way, tell an adult as soon as possible.
- Remember if there is an advertisement that sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
- If you are upset during a game, take a break to cool off. Remember it is only a game. You need to respect others! Think about what you say.

- No one you meet online should ask you to keep secrets from your friends, parents, teachers.
- Ask a trusted adult before sharing any personal information online. Including information you post on your profile.
- Be suspicious if and internet friend tries to turn you against your physical friends or family.
- Never accept gifts from anyone you have met online. It is often a trick to get your address.
- Report anyone who has asked you to send inappropriate information and/ or pictures.
- Be a good friend. Tell an adult if you know someone who is planning to meet someone online in an offline setting.
- If some one asks to meet you offline, tell trusted adult.
- Do not respond to users who ask for inappropriate information and/or pictures. Tell an adult right away.
