- When gaming, choose gender neutral usernames.
- Use a voice mask so other gamers do not know your age or gender.
- Do not share personal information, account details, or passwords while gaming.
- Never agree to meet an online friend offline.
- If you feel threatened in any way, tell an adult as soon as possible.
- Remember if there is an advertisement that sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
- If you are upset during a game, take a break to cool off. Remember it is only a game. You need to respect others! Think about what you say.

- Never Agree to meet anyone you have met online and do not know in real life. They could be dangerous and there is no way to know if the information they told you about themselves is true or a lie.
- Be careful of what you post online of yourself and about others. Once it is online, you never know how it will be redistributed.
- If you post inappropriate material of another person or of yourself, you could get in trouble with your school and even the law. Think about it...ask yourself "would I want everyone to know this about me?" If the answer is no then do not post the material.
